I am deeply committed to the advancement of effective global health care, and I hope one day to work within the fledgling health-care organizational structures currently in operation in underdeveloped parts of the world today. Contrary to popular myth, I believe that it is possible to deliver quality health care to individuals living in underdeveloped or resource-poor countries. I am committed not only to pursuing graduate research in the field of infectious-disease control, but I am also committed to a future career in the management and eradication of disease throughout many underdeveloped regions of the world today...
