I have worked for over fifteen years as a teacher in both elementary and secondary school education. My work has always proved both enormously rewarding and fulfilling, especially where I was able to assume positions of leadership within my school settings. Although the joys of classroom teaching and interpersonal interaction with young students continue to reward me, I am now seeking a position in administrative leadership as part of my immediate career aspirations. I am particularly interested in studies that focus on issues of administrative leadership related to curriculum implementation and innovative teaching methodologies. I note that the graduate program currently offered at the University of California maintains a strong research focus not only in innovative instructional methodologies, but also in recent findings regarding effective educational leadership...
